How does that apply to Tampa's unique issues, namely that we have no local policy or incentives to stimulate economic health except the ones known only to ' friends of friends' of those currently in power. The city of Tampa didn;t even have a coherent representative present at the postponed Earth Day Festivities, of course neither did the power company, despite the Dept of Energy and Climate Change assuring us that they are there for local government.
While the Riverwalk is an admirable effort, it's hardly Chicago's Centennial Park which welcomes 5,000,000 visitors a year- quite the economic impact wouldn't you say? But since apparently noone from Tampa cared to attend the Summit, we'll assume they are satisfied with the re-tread of Kiley Gardens. Maybe some people will go THIS time around, if we tell them how great it is.....
