ULI Rose Center Mayors' Forum on Building 21st Century Cities

The ULI Rose Center hosted a moderated panel discussion with several mayors who have served as Daniel Rose Fellows. The mayors examined shared challenges and opportunities in building their cities to compete in the 21st century economy.

Panel Moderator:
The Honorable Glenda Hood, Rose Center Advisory Board Member, former Orlando Mayor and former
Florida Secretary of State

Alumni Mayors:
The Honorable Karl Dean, Mayor of Nashville (2009-2010 Rose Fellow)
The Honorable Dave Bing, Mayor of Detroit (2010-2011 Rose Fellow)

2011-2012 Rose Fellows:
The Honorable Bob Buckhorn, Mayor of Tampa
The Honorable Sly James, Mayor of Kansas City
The Honorable Angel Taveras, Mayor of Providence

The Forum was held in the Taper Auditorium of the Los Angeles Central Library.
